...slightly whorish. Sorry, but every time I draw them, they come out this way. Doing something that looks kinda /wrong/, that is. Ah well. Mercutio has a strange expression here, almost a, dare I say, uke expression, but I'll chalk it up to simply an experimentation with a different facial angle. ^^; Sorry about the writing on the back of the page, again, this is what I do during Latin class. Actually, if you're curious at all, this one was drawn on the back of my Venerable Bede reading assignment...(I'm sure Bede would /not/ approve...^^;)

I find something very cute in BenBen's expression, hee hee. :D

Now that I realize it's not a lighting thing, I must ask: why does Mercutio have bicolor hair whenever you draw him? I like the effect, but I just have to know.

Oh, haha, that. It seems he's dyed the top of his head some pale color, probably silvery-white or bleached. That probably came from the fact that when I was BenBen in R&J last semester, my Mercutio had blue streaks in her hair, and I started doing this mental calculation along the lines of "hair dye=rebellious=Mercutio." Plus I really liked white better with his skin color than the normal black.
