It's supposed to be Hamlet, as the title might suggest, but it turned out looking like one of those El Greco paintings where the people look impossibly stretched out. Ah well. Oil paints.
Yeah, I can get a bit too focused on realism and loose track of the fact that even if I hate El Greco's stretched-out stuff, there must be somebody who likes him, or else he wouldn't have work in the Prado and the Louvre.
*prods El Greco with stick* Stop giving people creepy palor, man!
Why do all these men have better facial features than I do? It ain't right, ain't fair at all. For some reason, he reminds me of a Sandman character in old style. Can't remember who, though.
Have you happened to see Kenneth Branagh's Hamlet, by any chance?
Of course I know Branagh's version! It is slashy goodness. Which is enough for me to forgive the modern costuming and the random cameos. And I do like Branagh's speech to Guildenstern, i.e, "Can you play upon this pipe?" etc., etc. For some reason his Hamlet's ADD quirkiness seems to work there...

That's all you can say about it, really.
It's absolutely stunning. The colors and the feel of the peice just seem to capture Hamlet perfectly. Amazing work!

What's wrong with it being stretched out? It actually works quite well. Very moody. Fits in with the character, really.
