In honor of tomorrow's musical movie, I thought it would be neighborly to introduce Killian Donnelly to some other Combeferres I love, for point of comparison. Clockwise from upper left: my Combeferre (aka, "book Combeferre"?), Shoujo Cosette Combeferre, the redheaded Combeferre from the 1982 French movie (Christian Benedetti), and Killianferre. AKA, in that order: the neurotic one, the manly one, the nerdy one, and the Courfeyrac one. :XD:

My first time drawing Killian, so hopefully to improve in time......? (BTW, Killian, based on this sampling of 'Ferres, survey says: you desperately need spectacles. :)) Also my first time drawing 1982 'Ferre, who is absolutely one of my favs in the movies--best scene: playing chess on the barricade with Grantaire, and only sparing a moment to greet/scold Marius as if Marius was a naughty little kid. O__O :D

This would be cool in color, too: two brunettes, a redhead, and a blond. Nice sampling. :D

Hm, good luck with that. Believe me, if I could've found one.....(j/k, I love you, hubby! :D) But actually, embarrassingly enough, my Combeferre is starting to look a lot like an idealized version of myself as a male (i.e., me if I had giant sideburns). He even stole my haircut, that little bastard. =__=;; And to answer the question before it's asked, no, I will not wear sideburns and play Combeferre in any Les Mis movie. XDDDD

I'm pretty sure by now I'm most attached to your version of Combeferre.

...I don't think I've seen the 1982 version, but now I want to.

Nooo.. they give him rabbi beard. Gooooooood going guys *head to desk* ok.. I'm better.... not really but yeh.. Makes me a sad one.. srry.. the others are especially hott though ^_^

Your 'Ferre still is the perfect one for me :3 But I like them all, and as I first saw the drawing, I immediarely recognised Killian :3 SOOOOOOO props *3*

I just came from seeing a midnight showing, and I should say that, if he had had glasses, they probably would've fallen off by, like, Do You Hear the People Sing. A very active Combeferre. ;)
